If for the artist, these were his maximum exponent in conceptual and execution terms, for the dictatorial regime they were a scandal that deserved destruction. Saved by the intervention of high personalities at the time, they are today one of the greatest testimonies of Portuguese modern art. On the day when Monuments and Sites are commemorated, this is undoubtedly a witness to be preserved, valued, and known.
