The session started shyly but, quickly and when challenged by the speaker, the future young artists revealed the curiosity and perspicacity that so characterizes art students. The next challenge is to climb the scaffolding in July at the Gare Mar\u00edtima da Rocha do Conde de \u00d3bidos to see the paintings by Almada Negreiros up close.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For those who don't know, the Ant\u00f3nio Arroio Secondary School, founded in 1919, produced some of the most important and renowned Portuguese artists of the 20th century, including Julio Pomar (Painter), Jo\u00e3o Abel Manta (architect, illustrator and painter) and Joana Vasconcelos (artist plastic). Who knows if there will be a follower of Almada Negreiros' art in the future?
