In2Past - Associated Laboratory·
The ALMADA project is studying, for the first time using imaging and material analysis techniques, the mural painting legacy of Almada Negreiros, a key figure of the avant-garde and modernism in Portugal. The preliminary results are the starting point for the In2Past - Associated Laboratory Doctoral Cycle talk "Almada Negreiros: a transversal approach between art history and heritage sciences", which takes place in Guimarães on 4 April at 14h30.
The PI, Milene Gil (HERCULES Laboratory), and Mariana Pinto Dos Santos, a researcher at the IHA - Institute of Art History, will put heritage sciences and art history into dialogue, in a crossroads of knowledge that will go even further with the researcher and researcher from Lab2PT - Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage and Territory - João Cabeleira and Isabel Fernandes.
The session is not just for the scientific community: it is free to attend, subject only to room capacity. We look forward to seeing you! If you can't make it, watch the broadcast via Zoom at https://tinyurl.com/in2past-conversa6
