One of the pillars of ALMADA project is knowledge sharing and public engagement. Therefore, on the 24th and 25th of July, we received 30 visitors in four sessions during the Hand’s on Heritage Science workshop. The visitors from different backgrounds - geology, biology, mathematics, portuguese, physics, chemistry, art, art history, philosophy, computer science, archaeology, conservation and restoration - or simply moved by curiosity and a taste for art, had the opportunity to see the analysis that are being carried out and the wall paintings up close.
