Another great artist of the 20th century who leaves us

The ALMADA project pays tribute to Lydio Bandeira de Mello (1929-2023), from Leopoldina, Minas Gerais, who passed away at the age of 94 with an artistic career spanning more than 70 years. Another accomplished designer and master painter who trained generations of Brazilian artists and who leaves us an impressive legacy not only in Rio de Janeiro but also in the Italian town of Poggio Bustone, where in the 1950s he produced two frescoes that would become the city's postcard.
If you don't know this artist, it's worth watching this short documentary produced by the MNBA in Rio de Janeiro, which expresses his personality, mastery and wisdom well.
