" We'll talk about the importance and practical scope of research in Heritage Sciences through the case study of the mural paintings of the Gare Marítima da Rocha, by Almada Negreiros. Knowing in order to (better) conserve is one of the objectives of the ALMADA project and one of the fundamental stages prior to any conservation and restoration intervention. In this presentation, we will learn about the problems, the campaigns carried out, the results of the on-site and ongoing laboratory analyses, the warnings and concerns that are being shared with the conservation and restoration team in order to draw up the best intervention strategy promoted by WMF-Portugal.
